Family housing

Lodging with a host family is the most appropriate option for students who wish to integrate into Spanish life and culture, and practice Spanish. All families have been carefully selected by the Colegio de España and many of them have been collaborating with the Colegio de España for many years.

On your first day, the host family will give you a key and you will be able to enjoy the freedom to come and go as you please.  You only have to respect the common living rules and the timetables for meals.

​The laundry service is not included: if you wish to have this service, you have to inform the host family.

Flats / Apartment:   Apartment accommodations are available on a request basis.  The additional fee, if any, depends on the number of people sharing an apartment and the type of apartment we are able to get.  Normally the apartments are located less than 30 minutes walking distance from the school and center of town.  In these flats normally there are between 3 and 5 students.  Generally, all students are from the Colegio, even though we try to join different nationalities.

Cultural Activities

IN SALAMANCA: The school organizes every month a variety of extra-curricular activities.  The cultural programs is an essential component that helps students enhance their knowledge of Spanish culture, traditions and language.  

The first day of class students will receive an information sheet where you will find all the extra-curricular activities that will take place during the month as well as detailed information on the cultural activities offered by the city (theatre, cinema, concerts, fairs, conferences, festivals, etc.).

A school representaive from the Colegio de España accompanies all cultural activiteis organized by the school.
